Holi in Braj is not one day – it is a festival that moves from village to village for more than a week. Our 4 days Braj Holi festival tour package takes you to the best of it: the Laddoo and Lathmar Holi of Barsana, the return Lathmar Holi in Nandgaon, the Chhadimar Holi of Gokul and the temples of Vrindavan and Mathura.
The 2027 Braj Holi calendar is expected to start with Laddoo Holi in Barsana on 15 March and Lathmar Holi in Barsana on 16 March, followed by Nandgaon on 17 March and Gokul on 19 March. We travel in a private AC car with a local driver and shape the four days around the dates you can travel.

Drive to Barsana (about 45 km from Mathura) for the Laddoo Holi at the Radha Rani temple, when laddoos are thrown as prasad amid Holi songs. Overnight in Mathura, Vrindavan or Govardhan.
Reach Barsana early – roads close as the crowd builds. Walk up to the Shriji temple on Bhanugarh hill.
Watch the famous Lathmar Holi, when the women of Barsana playfully strike the men of Nandgaon with lathis. Find a rooftop or a raised spot for the best and safest view.
Nandgaon returns the favour: the men of Barsana visit Nandgaon for the second Lathmar Holi. Visit Nand Bhawan temple on the hill.
Drive to Govardhan for Daan Ghati and Mansi Ganga, or do a short Govardhan parikrama by car. Overnight in Vrindavan.
Banke Bihari, Radha Raman and ISKCON Vrindavan – temple Holi celebrations run all week.
Visit Gokul and Raman Reti (on Chhadimar Holi day, Gokul plays Holi with sticks), then drop to Delhi, Agra or Mathura station.
