Your sacred Braj Yatra begins with your arrival in Mathura, the divine birthplace of Lord Krishna. After checking into your hotel, proceed to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, where Lord Krishna was born. Explore the Garbha Griha (sanctum) and temple complex, absorbing the spiritual energy of Krishna’s presence. Next, visit the Dwarkadhish Temple, an architectural wonder filled with devotional bhajans and artistic beauty. Later, head to Vishram Ghat, the most sacred ghat on the Yamuna River, where Krishna rested after slaying Kansa. Here, enjoy a serene boat ride on the Yamuna, followed by the divine Yamuna Aarti, where devotees offer diyas and chant Krishna bhajans. After this spiritually uplifting experience, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Mathura.
After breakfast, travel to Vrindavan, the land where Krishna played, performed Ras Leela, and spread divine love. Begin your spiritual tour at Banke Bihari Temple, one of the most famous Krishna temples, known for its unique "jhanki darshan" ritual, where Krishna’s curtain opens and closes frequently. Continue to ISKCON Temple, where you can join kirtans, meditation sessions, and spiritual discourses led by devoted followers. As part of the Braj 84 Kos Yatra, visit the 12 sacred forests (Vans) of Braj, which include Vrindavan Van, Nidhivan, Seva Kunj, Madhuvan, Talvan, Kamyavan, and Bahulavan. Each of these forests holds deep connections to Krishna’s divine leelas, from Ras Leela to Krishna’s playful encounters with the gopis. In the evening, witness the grand light and sound show at Prem Mandir, which beautifully depicts Krishna’s pastimes. After a spiritually immersive day, return to Mathura for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Gokul, where Krishna spent his early childhood under the care of Yashoda Maiya. Begin at Chaurasi Khamba, a grand palace associated with Nanda Maharaj, where Krishna lived as a child. Continue to Raman Reti, a sacred sand area where Krishna played with his friends and cows—a place where devotees often roll in the sand for spiritual blessings. Visit Brahmand Ghat, the mystical site where baby Krishna revealed the entire universe inside his mouth to Yashoda Maiya, leaving her in divine awe. Spend some time meditating and absorbing the serenity of Gokul before heading back to Mathura for an overnight stay.
On this day, embark on the sacred Govardhan Parikrama, following the divine footsteps of Krishna. Devotees can complete the full 21 km parikrama by foot or vehicle, passing through significant sites such as Radha Kund and Shyam Kund, the holiest water bodies in Braj, where devotees take a holy dip for spiritual purification. The next stop is Kusum Sarovar, a serene lake surrounded by cenotaphs, where Radha and the gopis used to collect flowers for Krishna. Continue towards Mansi Ganga, a sacred water body believed to have been created by Lord Krishna’s divine will. End the parikrama with a visit to Poonchari Ka Lotha, a spiritual spot associated with Lord Hanuman’s presence in Braj. After a fulfilling pilgrimage, enjoy a simple meal at an ashram, then return to Mathura for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel to Barsana, the birthplace of Radha Rani. Visit the Radha Rani Temple, a hilltop temple with breathtaking views of Barsana village, where devotees sing Radha Krishna bhajans. Explore Maan Mandir, where Radha expressed her divine love for Krishna, and visit Prem Sarovar, a sacred lake associated with Radha-Krishna’s pastimes. After lunch, continue to Nandgaon, the childhood home of Lord Krishna. Visit Nand Bhavan, the grand palace of Nanda Maharaj, and Pan Sarovar, a serene pond where Krishna would bring his cows for drinking water. Before heading back, stop at Ter Kadamba, a peaceful site where Krishna played his flute to call the gopis for Ras Leela. Return to Mathura in the evening for an overnight stay.
Start the day with a drive to Kaman, an ancient site associated with Krishna’s leelas. Visit the Kameshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, who witnessed Krishna’s divine pastimes. Next, visit Charan Pahadi, a sacred site where Krishna’s footprints are believed to be embedded in the rocks. Proceed to Ter Kadamba, a serene place where Krishna gathered his cows with the sound of his flute. The final stop is Jal Mahal, a tranquil water palace surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for meditation and reflection. After a day of exploring these sacred sites, return to Mathura for an overnight stay.
